At Networks Veka's 2011 AGM held in Stratford Upon Avon, Heavers of Bridport Ltd again scooped the Customer satisfaction award for an amazing eleventh time. A delighted Malcolm Heaver said " we work very hard at Heavers to be the best in all that we do, to win this award for a record eleventh time is testiment to our endevours." The award, from the independent window installers’ organisation Network VEKA, means Heavers of Bridport Ltd won the vote out of nearly 140 window and door companies from right across Britain and Ireland.

The Fully Sculptured replaces the Matrix 58mm which is being phased out by Veka as it will not meet the new energy saving requirements due to be implemented in October 2010. Once again Heavers are first to respond. 

Heavers tops the green list with Dorset’s first energy saving ‘A’

Local home improvements manufacturer Heavers of Bridport Ltd has become the first company in Dorset to be awarded an ‘A’ label in the Government-backed Window Energy Rating Scheme – the highest band possible for an energy-saving window. The label, similar to those found on new fridges and freezers, was awarded by the British Fenestration Ratings Council after thorough examination of Heavers’ specification.

The ratings are  for casement type windows. “People are taking energy consumption more seriously than ever nowadays,” said Malcolm Heaver, MD of the family-run company, which is also a founder member of the trade organisation, Network VEKA. “And the windows of our homes are a way that everyone can make a real difference with just a little thought – and make significant savings on their fuel bills too.”

Heavers now qualifies to display the Energy Rating Scheme label, with its familiar letter and colour coding.

A Dorset home improvements manufacturer has become one of only two companies ever to win an organisation’s Customer Satisfaction Award for an amazing Elevnth time. The award, from the independent window installers’ organisation Network VEKA, means Heavers of Bridport Ltd shares the record accolade with only one other member – a Yorkshire company – out of nearly 140 across Britain and Ireland.
Heavers’ win, for the South West region, was calculated after Network VEKA analysed the Customer Satisfaction returns of nearly 16,000 households – every single customer of every member company for the whole year. Ross Heaver received the trophy from snooker legend Steve Davis at the organisation’s recent AGM. Davis works as ambassador for Network VEKA, endorsing its standards and guarantees in members’ advertising. The six-times World Champion told him: “It’s quite something to win this award once but it takes real enduring excellence to win Eleven times.”
Heavers was also among 16 companies to win admission to the Network VEKA 100% Club for members scoring higher than 99% in the Customer Satisfaction returns.
